Rag Quilt

Fall 2015 quilt
I made this quilt last fall as a baby gift. The front side was a true old fashion quilt as my fabric resources were from old work scrubs and curtain fabric from Hannah’s bedroom at one time.
Quilt displayed over couch.
The back side of the quilt was yellow flannel.

The quilt was made with 6 inch blocks, 5 across and 7 in length. Each block placed wrong sides together, and sewn together on the diagonal. Rag quilts often have batting in between layers. This one did not because it is for use in a warm climate.

The yellow flannel was purchased from the French Knot in Nacogdoches, Texas.
