Pictures from a Family Reunion of the Mardikian Line
Steve’s Uncle Paul turned 90 last month and we were invited to go on a cruise to help him celebrate the big event. We left Port Canavarel on March 20th after flying in the day before into Tampa. We walked Coco Beach earlier in the day before boarding the ship. The Enchantment of the Seas took us on a 3 day cruise to Nassau, Bahamas and CocoCay, Bahamas. CocoCay was the island that the cruise line owns. You already saw pictures from CocoCay.
Uncle Paul was not the Mardikian. He married Virgina Mardikian. Aunt Virginia was Steve’s mom’s sister. They were the daughter’s of Peter and Sarah Mardikian whose roots are in Armenia and immigrated to the United States in the 1920’s and settled in Syracuse, NY. The picture of Peter and Sarah was taken with our son Micah at Peter and Sarah house on East Fayette Street, Syracuse, NY. Here are some other pictures plus favorite recipes of the Steve Thompson Family.
